Courage to Change Appaloosa Ranch

After 5 years on the high plains of Colorado, the Courage to Change Addiction Recovery Ranch is moving from the "Little House on the Prairie" to a "Ranch on the Hill" in Colorado Springs. The new facility is only 5 acres but the new home is 6,000 square feet. It boasts of a Great Room with fireplace, a view of Pike's Peak from every west window and a view of the city from the other windows. There is a perfect spot for our "Talking Circle" as well as a garden area. Ponderosa and Aspen trees embrace the west side of the house and an old white fence circles the ranch.

The move will take us closer to recovery resources and allow our counselors more time with the clients instead of so much windshield time. There are over 200 12-Step meetings a week in Colorado Springs.

Sweat Lodge Ceremonies will still be held at the Simla Ranch.

Courage to Change Appaloosa Ranch is located on the prairie lands in El Paso County, Colorado (due east of Colorado Springs) and is situated amongst the rolling hills that transition from the Rocky Mountain Front Range to the eastern high plains. Views to the west offer glorious sunsets over the Rockies, while eastern views herald brilliant sunrises filled with the promise of hope and new beginnings.
